This sculpture depicts the British prime minister, David Cameron and his coalition partner, Nick Clegg, getting married in the Rose Garden at the back of 10 Downing St.

It also refers to the issue of gay marriage and to willing and unwilling partnerships based on self-interest masquerading as altruism

Dearly Beloved is currently in The Guildhall Art Gallery exhibition "Victoriana, the Art of Revival" in the City of London.
