Greatly loved and much admired, Brigid Marlin has created some truly magnificent works. Originally from Washington DC, Brigid has studied all over the world and experienced a great deal; her pieces are highly sought after. During this time Brigid has painted some excellent commission pieces.

Interesting fact: Brigid was the first person to receive permission to paint an official portrait of the Dalai Lama with a sitting time of 40 minutes. Fearing that she wouldn’t be able to complete the task, she went ahead anyway and had the most amazing experience. She was granted more than 40 minutes and was allowed to paint while the Dalai Lama received visitors. It is well worth reading her account of the time she painted the portrait of the Dalai
