This is a small painting of some ships docked in the harbour at low tide. I love painting these kinds of maritime scenes, studying the unique history and details of these extraordinary ships before capturing them forever in the medium of paint; they really are a fascinating window into the past. The frame, which is unique and made especially for my work, is made of hand-waxed and polished solid oak.
