This piece combines numerous elements and techniques which currently preoccupy Patricia's work; namely a simplicity and elegance of form, added to which is a strong contrast of colours; in this case a dramatic red drip running the length of the piece, its liquid randomness heightening the overall, human-made precision of the sculpture.

This piece is individually made with ceramic coils, is fired in the kiln, then polished. The drip is painted on with high-quality acrylic paint. To finish, the entire sculpture is mounted upon a slab of robust Welsh slate; a feature which serves to elevate and add to the commanding presence of the work . It is only suitable for interior display.
