Matumain - Copper coloured skull sculpture created by Scott Hendrie. Sable & Ox have the pleasure of presenting Scott Hendries amazing skull sculptures; Scott has created his own entirely original artform. Bringing together the elements of gothic, retro, boho and steampunk design with natural form, producing work that really is truly unique.
Meaning hope in Swahili, this piece features filigree tips to waxed black horns. The skull has a copper reptilian paint effect and is mounted on a faux python skin shield consisting of 200 porcupine quills and white peacock feathers.
